FARMSTEAD will be a new home community offering a bucolic lifestyle in the North Orchard neighborhood of Vacaville, California.

Farmstead is a proposed small community of homes designed to offer a lifestyle that embraces the rich history of this former working orchard, and connects to nature through the preservation of beautiful one hundred year-old trees.

The site of Farmstead, cared for by three generations of farmers, grew into a neighborhood institution, thanks to the community-minded family who ran a fruit stand for many years.  Anticipating that an orchard operation on this site may have to conclude one day, the City of Vacaville has planned for this site to become a residential community (since 1990).  Farmstead will connect to the neighborhood by inviting its neighbors into the previously private domain of old trees through a public park and trail system as a community destination.

One of the last remaining city infill sites, this special 20.6-acre property, is located in the coveted North Orchard neighborhood, just 1.2 miles from historic downtown Vacaville, California.  The General Plan of the City of Vacaville, designates this property as a residential medium-density community with a public park.
